Up for your consideration, and for the entire benefit of the Ogden Food Bank, which provides food aid to thousands of people every month, is a box of Msc. Minolta junque that I need to get out of here. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN.
This is a good cause, folks. Ogden's food bank really needs help this time of year. The Christmas donation flood is over but the need never ends. Rather than try to pick up small change cleaning out my collection, I'd rather benefit a good charity.
Included in this sale is is:
Two Minolta SRT 101 bodies. Both work, including slow speeds, and seem to move film through OK.
On KEH they'd be somewhere between UG and BGN. On eBay they'd be Mint-minus. In reality, they're OK, mostly.
For example the lens release button is missing on one of them, but you can still actuate the lens release, and if you put a small screw into it it would be even easier. The other pretty much works OK. I have no idea if the meters work. No clue if they need their light seals replaced, or anything like that. Either would make a great user/beater, or experiments involving large rocks.
Also included: An Asanuma 45-150 Zoom macro lens. Talk about a single lens that does it all!!!! Glass looks good, lens works well.
A 135 Auto-Vivitar on a T-Mount (it's a T-2, I think, the one that maintains all auto functions and allows interchangability with other lenses that use this mount) and also works well, glass looks good.
A Minolta leather case with a lens shade that fits a lens of some sort, and two--yes TWO -- minolta extension tubes that look to be 5 and 10mm.
All of this will come to you in a Flat Rate Postal Service box, delivered by a UNIFORMED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT POSTAL SERVICE.
How much? All I ask is a $50 donation to the Ogden food bank. You can paypal me the $50 and trust me to forward it. My paypal is Summicron12000@yahoo.com.
If you are skeptical, you can mail me a check for $50 made out to "Catholic Community Services" and I will forward it.
Either way, you donate the entire $50, I pay the postage inside the United States, which is my part of the donation. As always, first money takes it all.
