For Sale FS: Certotrop 9x12cm cool little folding camera

This camera has a great set of features and I enjoy the heck out of it. The format isn’t for me so it must go!

Basics - Certotrop 9x12cm folding view camera with ground glass and a viewfinder to use for scale focus.
-Schneider Xenar 150mm f/3.5 lens.
-Built in spirit level
-Geared rise/fall and shift (very cool!)
-9x12 film holders x 3 with septums for sheet film, or remove to use plates (commercially available in this size!)
-Pack film holder with an empty Tri-x box.
-Janky original leather case complete with electrical tape wrap. We’ll consider it extra shipping protection.

It has some wear but functions great. There is one thumb screw missing that helps lock down the front standard. The second screw works fine by itself but it would be easily replaceable if wanted. Bellows are good to my knowledge, flashlight tested and have run limited film and paper through it.

The film pack holder can fit the 4x5 version? Just curious.

Hello! I’m not aware of a way to use 4x5 film on this one. I’ve just made paper negs and some limited 9x12 film.

A film pack holder that fits this camera likely won't work on even the same model in 4x5. The pack holder will have the same mount as the plate holders, which are barely larger than the actual plates or film sheaths.
