For Sale FS: Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 105mm f/3.5 in Compur-Rapid shutter (covers 6x9)

I bought this lens to convert a Polaroid Automatic Land Camera to manual with a faster and possibly sharper lens than that of the 195. This lens is in great condition, not mint but definitely an excellent user. The shutter is snappy and all speeds including B and T fire and sound accurate with the exception of 1 and 2 which seem to lag slightly. The iris opens and stops down smoothly. The aperture blades are free of oil. The glass is free of fungus and haze. This lens comes with it's original push on lens cap. Also included is a baby Speed Graphic lens board and the retaining ring for the lens.

Looking to get $110 OBO + S/H from Ohio.

Is this lens coated? Not that interested if it is multi-coated, but coated would be nice.

Does not appear to be. I'd guess this is a pre-war Tessar.

Great lens for B&W. Uncoated would be more desirable in my book.

The implication being that the lens is uncoated…

IMHO these prewar Tessars have just the sweetest signature ever.
