I am looking to sell my CZJ Biometar 80mm....it is in very nice condition with no optical blemishes, fungus, haze etc. The aperture works great.

IT HAS A PENTACON 6 MOUNT. A simple search will tell you that adapters are available for most common systems. I definitely covers 645 format as shown in pictures below, but I believe it covers 6x6 as well, though I am not sure.

I realized that I needed more reach and flexibility. I have got a Pentax 80-160mm lens from another gracious APUG member since and this is surplus to my needs. Pictures below.

Asking for $165+shipping to CONUS (I will absorb Paypal). Comes with front and rear caps and original case.

Open to reasonable offers as well.

Thanks.

Avi

Here are some shots on Kodak TriX on my Pentax 645N. :http://www.flickr.com/photos/smiling_buddha/sets/72157627669201411/

I will have to check and tell you......I am out of town right now and will get back on Monday.....I will mount it to my nikon d300 and let you know.

But you might be able to put off that info from the net. Alternately, if you want real close focus, then you can always attach extension tubes...

I had a look, and it seems like the mfd was 1 metre. I'm not entirely sure since I could only find it on one site, and was not certain that the person was describing this exact lens.

I was after a 80mm 2.8 lens which could focus normally up to 70cms.

Good luck with your sale.

I can confirm next week. If you are looking for a real close MFD, then you need a macro lens.

Like I said, you can do that by either getting a dedicated macro lens, or by adding extension tubes to the Biometar.
