I was planning on using this while swimming, but never got to it. Works as it should, but I have never tried it in water. I can include a battery if needed. Selling for $25 shipped and PPed.
I did try one in water, and despite what Canon said (basically that the camera is not an underwater one, but a "splash tolerant" one, I never got any problems.
Thanks Laurent. I did clean the seals on the hinge and battery compartment. I will take some pictures later. Did not get it with a case, it only comes with the strap.
Curious it hasn't been taken yet. It seems quite a good and solid camera.
Occasionally I get the bug for an underwater camera and I did look for one of these. I haven't inquired for it as I'm on the other side of the pond (shipping+customs) and I'm not quite sure if I need it really!
Though I'm sure it beats by far a disposable camera. I've had a bug for doing a project centered on the beach with one of these film cameras, reminiscent of childhood.
