I don't know about the Canon P, but if you're talking about the OKARO contrast filters that go on Leica Barnack cameras, those aren't threaded either. It's just a push-on friction fit that slips over the rangefinder window.A nice kit, the photographs look good too. Does this Canon have a threaded fixture for a small orange filter for better focusing?
Canon P (“Populaire”) rangefinder body in overall vg-exc condition. Some brightmarks on the top and bottom, and one tiny pen tip depression on the bottom, but no dents. Leather is in fine condition. Minor wrinkling on shutter which is common for the P. Viewfinder is clear and rangefinder well aligned. There is some shutter capping at 1/1000 speed that results in one end of the negative being underexposed. This only occurs at 1/1000, 1/500 and below are fine. Self timer works. Recently film tested (May 2020) with both lenses and negatives look fine.
50mm f1.8 Canon black/chrome lens. Glass is fine with no fungus, separation, haze, or scratches of significance. Focus is smooth. Some evidence of oil on blades which does not impact function at all. Minimal dust. Aperture blades make an almost perfect circle. VG cosmetics.
35mm f2.8 Canon black/chrome lens. Glass is fine with no fungus, separation, haze, or scratches of significance. Focus is smooth. Minimal dust. Front and rear caps. Aperture blades make an almost perfect circle. Exc cosmetics.
