For sale is a user Canon EOS RT (real-time) pellicle-mirror 35mm SLR camera. In RT mode it's got a specified shutter lag of only 8 milliseconds, at a continuous motor drive speed of 5 frames per second. *sigh* ... if only I shot action...
This camera is in KEH BGN grade; there is lots of wear on the hot shoe and the battery door screw. There is a little dust on the mirror, and since in this camera, the mirror *IS* part of the actual optical system that creates the image, it might have some effect on the final results (though I have not noticed anything). No extras such as batteries, straps, caps, or eye-cups; this is for the camera body only.
The camera worked fine the last time I had a battery for it; this is the only camera I own that takes the pricey 2CR5 lithium battery. I really don't need such a fast motor-driven camera, and can't justify buying another battery for a camera I never use. So I'm selling it in hopes that someone else can use it. Send me a PM if interested!
First $25 (plus shipping to the CONUS only) gets the camera body. I accept PayPal, USPS money orders, or personal checks (must clear before shipping).
*A note for those who may never have used this camera - when you use it in RT mode, the camera "pre-cocks" the shutter when you first hold the shutter button down halfway. It might seem like the camera is trying to fire but the shutter's not cycling, but in fact, it's getting ready to fire; this is how the final shutter release has such short lag time. When I first used it, I was not sure if it was working, but the shutter does fire correctly.
