Didn't think I'd be selling this one so soon, but major life changes and direction in my photographic style are dictating this one.

Totally flawless condition. UY03 date code. Comes with original caps, box & paperwork.

I'm asking $2k obo (if you're using paypal please include 3%, I will cover shipping), otherwise Amazon Payments is also accepted.

Picture of the lens:

I will consider trades, as far as lenses I would be interested in a 24L II, but other offers are welcome.

Also interested in film equipment (Leica M, Mamiya 7, Mamiya 645 AFD, etc. etc.)

PM me if you're interested!

If this were in Europe I would buy that right away. Good luck with the sale, this lens is one of the best wide-angles ever built, and the price is appropriate.

ive had a question about the ts-e lenses. aren't they manual focus? Never been behind the wheel of one, but I've wanted one.

Yes sir, completely manual focus.

It is an incredibly amazing hunk of glass, easily the best ultra wide angle lens I've ever had the pleasure of working with (though the Zeiss 21mm comes in a very close second).

I really don't want to sell this thing because it's just so darn good, but I'm also truly determined to change my style and finally get my photography business off the ground. This lens sadly does not have a place in my new venture.

I'm happy to answer ANY questions, please throw them my way.

do they focus confirm on EOS bodies? like, I see something 8ft away and if I manually focus to it, at 8ft. my EOS body beeps at me?

I have absolutely no money for this (yet) but I have always wondered about the TS-E lenses.

Tempting, but not something I need at the moment.

To answer j-dogg, I have the 24II and 45 TS-E lenses, and they do focus confirm, as do the Zeiss ZE mount lenses and you can also get chipped adapters for M42 and possibly other adaptable mounts like Tamron Adaptall-II that will focus confirm on an EOS body. I have such an adapter that I ordered from a Hong Kong dealer on eBay for the Zeiss 35/2 ZS mount lens. Apparently the body just needs to know the focal length, because the adapter isn't otherwise electronically coupled to the lens.

Yep, as David confirmed it will work like any other EOS lens in manual focus mode.
If anyone knows someone interested, send them my way

Lens is sold! I'm going to miss it, but I can always rent it if the need arises.
