FS: 5x7 Cambo monorail plus extras $500
I've decided to mainly shoot whole-plate and 11x14 formats so I'm selling some smaller cameras. I originally acquired a bunch of Cambo SC stuff because I'd planned to teach wetplate workshops out of my man cave and wanted the participants to all be using the same modular system to simplify things. I ended up acquiring an 8x10 Cambo, a 5x7 Cambo, and 6-7 4x5 Cambo/Calumet models plus extra backs, bellows, right-angle magnifiers, etc. I'm keeping the 8x10 for now, but would like to sell the rest since my teaching plans have changed. I'm also currently purchasing a house and could use the extra cash.
To start, I have a 5x7 Cambo (I believe it is an SC model with the square rail) for sale. The camera is in decent shape but definitely a user. It has a spare intact bellows as well as a leather bag bellows that I'll include (the bag bellows is very worn and needs some patching), a 5x7 bail back as well as a revolving 4x5 Graflok reducing back with Fresnel and I will include a standard lensboard in the basic package. There are some minor problems that include a cracked but still functional standard locking handle and several missing or dried bubble levels. I've reduced the price since listing this package elsewhere (LFF, MWLFA, etc.,) and am now asking $500 net to me for that basic package.
I can also add other stuff to the basic package. For example, I have a nice Calumet soft case ($85) or sturdier hard case ($135), and a Cambo sliding back with revolving Graflok sliders ($200 - this might even take a MF digital back). Since the Cambo SC system is modular, other options might be to buy one of the extra 4x5 standards I have along with a short rail and 4x5 bag bellows and end up with 2 cameras for an extra $85 when purchased with the 5x7 package.
All prices are net to me. You pay actual insured shipping. USPS postal money order preferred but I will accept personal or cashier checks drawn on US banks and ship when the checks clear. I'll also accept Western Union money transfers for domestic or international transactions. Sorry, no Paypal.
