Cambo's SCH precision-geared movement has important advantages over standard friction-locking ball-heads and other 3-D schemes. Minute adjustments are precise and controllable. And because the Tilt movement is geared, it is self-locking. The Cambo 3-D Gearhead provides 140 degrees of self-locking tilt, 90 degrees forward and 50 degrees back. 180 degrees manual side-to-side tilt movement features adjustable resistance.

Everything works properly. The geared tilt is smooth, and all the locks are firm. There is some paint loss and a few rust marks, but this is purely cosmetic.
