I'm selling a Calumet C1 8x10 outfit, a.k.a., The Green Monster. No cracks on the ground glass. All the movements are there. Bellows is light-tight. The red gaffers tape is there to help me frame a full plate, and is easily removed without residue. Glass is a Schneider 300mm f/5.6 Symmar-S 8x10 lens. No haze, fungus, oil, scratches, nor Schneideritis. Comes with front lens cap. Copal-3 shutter sticks on 1s, 1/2s, and 1/4s, but because of film's reciprocity failure, I've never bothered to get it fixed—faster speeds, B, and T shutter all work great. $750 PayPal + shipping.

Just to clarify, this is the aluminum version and that the levels still have fluid in them.

I'd go for the aluminum. Magnesium is about 1/2 step above potmetal, IMO.

If it's aluminum, then it's not a Green Monster. It's a Black Beast. However, color is not an absolute indicator, as some early aluminum versions were supposedly still painted green. Gotta' go get the bathroom scales to know for sure.

Urban legend tells the story of the reason for the transition from magnesium to aluminum. As related, supposedly the local fire marshal walked in one day, saw camera bodies being machined from solid blocks of magnesium, and the factory floors covered with large heaps of fine magnesium shavings. It's said he almost keeled over in a dead faint.

It weighs in at 18 lbs 9 oz. It's the missing link: a Green Beast.
