Two Caltar-S II MC lenses for sale.

The 135mm, described by Kerry Thallman on Large Format forum: "The 135mm Caltar-S II is equivalent to the 135mm Schneider Symmar-S. The filter size is 49mm. It is a 6/4 plasmat design with 70 degrees of coverage for a 190mm image circle. It may, or my not, be multicoated. If it is, it will be labeled "Multicoating" around the front element. It's a good, modern lens that should be capable of excellent performance." This lens is in Excellent+ condition, with no visible dust or visible rub/cleaning marks. Copal #0 shutter. Generic front and rear caps. $140 shipped Priority Mail in COUS. Money order or check (which would have to clear before shipping).

The 210mm, again described by Kerry: "Actually, if your lens is a Caltar-S II, it is a Schneider, identical to the comparable vintage (1976-83) Schneider Symmar-S. It covers 70 degrees, for an image circle of 294mm in the 210mm focal length and takes 77mm filters." This lens is in Excellent+ condition, with no visible dust or rub/cleaning marks. Original front and rear caps. Copal #1 shutter. $175 shipped Priority Mail in COUS. Money order or check (which would have to clear before shipping).

Both lenses are in Excellent+ condition and delivery excellent image quality. I am standardizing on Nikkor lenses.

If you are looking to get started in LF or to fill in gaps in coverage, these two lenses will served you very well.

Please PM me if any questions.

This 210mm is a fine, sharp lens. I have two, one has to go. Price reduced to $150- "worth" more, but the market is the market. Your gain!
