That's quite a list there. Shame their are no extension tubes or the 180mm lens, as they are 2 items I'd be on in a flash.

Kept two SQ-Ai bodies, 65mm, 80mm, 180mm, the extension tubes, some film backs, and a couple other goodies... )

The 135mm focuses close also. So, if you are looking for a lens that focuses close enough for headshots like the 180mm. You might to do a little internet research on the 135mm.

Also, if you are into landscape work, the 40mm, chimney finder, and the 6x4.5 film backs are a great combination. The 6x4.5 orientation has the wide dimension horizontal. You could purchase these component and a cheap SQ camera body and have a great system for cheap.

Yes, I agree, it would make a good system like that. I have the 110 F4 lens, which also works nice for tighter in portraits. The 180, though, would be just that bit nicer!

It might happen... have a Zeiss Sonnar 180mm f/2.8 on an Exakta 66 I like a lot right now, but I'm not there yet.

Yes, the 180mm is nice, but the 135mm is really a sleeper. I thought long and hard about keeping the 135mm and selling the 180mm... it is that nice.

So do that. . Just kidding.

I have a 105mm and 150mm that I really like too.

I would have been interested in your 50mm lens, but shipping to the UK along with customs and VAT probably doesn't make it worth while for either of us, unfortunately.

Agreed. I have both lenses myself, as well as the 105mm S, and the 135mm is really a fantastic lens and I generally find it far more useful than the 180mm. I'd say that the 135mm is arguably the best all-around portrait lens for the SQ series when taking into account size, speed, focal length, and minimum focus distance.

The 135mm does a great job for close portraits too:

I guess it's only for the really close stuff that the 180mm definitely outshines the 135mm. I'd prefer to use the 135mm for more general shooting, but I've occasionally taken the 180mm out on hikes:
