Hi,

I'm just not using any C41 film in my 35mm cameras (I use a lot of it in 120). So I'm selling my stock.
All of it was kept in freezer since new and just expired. Most of the film comes in Japan Camera hunter cases to save space.
The cases are filled up with following films and come from the same batch of film as the packaged ones:
10 x Fuji Pro 400H (Exp 05/2014) + Japan Hunter case = $70
10 x Kodak Portra 160 (Exp 06/2014) + Japan Hunter case = $70
8 x Kodak Portra 400 (Exp 06/2014) + 2 x Fuji Pro 400H (Exp 05/2014) + Japan Hunter case = $70
1 x Kodak Profoto XL 100 + Japan Hunter case = $10 (pretty much the roll of film is free)

1 x Kodak Portra 400 propack (5 rolls) (Exp 06/2014). $35
1 x Kodak Portra 160 propack (5 rolls) (Exp 06/2014). $35
4 x Fuji Pro 400H (Exp 05/2014). $28

If you want it to get it shipped in australia, ask me about postage, since it will vary. Local pickup in camperdown is welcome.
I might consider interesting trades as well.

I should mention that I'm willing to trade for Fuji Provia 100f/400X, Ektachrome E100G/VS, TriX, Neopan 400 in 120 and 35mm.

Price drop:

10 x Fuji Pro 400H (Exp 05/2014) + Japan Hunter case = $60
10 x Kodak Portra 160 (Exp 06/2014) + Japan Hunter case = $60
8 x Kodak Portra 400 (Exp 06/2014) + 2 x Fuji Pro 400H (Exp 05/2014) + Japan Hunter case = $60
1 x Kodak Profoto XL 100 + Efiniti Uxi 200 + Japan Hunter case = $9

1 x Kodak Portra 400 propack (5 rolls) (Exp 06/2014). $30
1 x Kodak Portra 160 propack (5 rolls) (Exp 06/2014). $30
4 x Fuji Pro 400H (Exp 05/2014). $24

I was just thinking the other day that I should buy some 135 C41, seeing as I might want some for the Grampians trip in my EOS 3 for birds. I'll call shotgun on one of the 400s, I can't decide between fuji and portra. Either one better for wildlife?

I would go portra, it has better shadows if you are going to be in forest. I like to over expose Pro400H.

Well, in the Portra pack, there are 2 rolls of Pro400H, so you can see how it compares.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, so I'll take the 8 portra and 2 NPH bundle. I'll pm you for shipping etc.

Then all I have to do is try getting my 430EX and eos 3 with 70-300L working together with the betterbeamer. I've never really figured out ttl flash on film (not that I ever really figured it out on digital either, but at least there I can chimp and reshoot).

I would like the 2 Portra propacks, 1 each of 160 and 400, without the case.

Jarek, it looks like I will be doing a quick trip to QLD over the weekend of 23-24 Aug so I should have your HC-110 in Sydney on the Tuesday of the
following week. It also means I finally get my hands on the RZ67 I bought a couple of months ago.

Would it be OK if I pay you for the Portra when I hand over the HC-110?

Cheers,
Martin

Get a hand flash meter and you will never need to chimp again

Sounds like a plan, replied in the other thread as well.

Well yeah, I got an L608 a month or two ago, only used it as a spotmeter a few times already. Not sure if I can easily use it as a spotmeter with a flash pointed 50m away with a betterbeamer though. Looks like I'm spending my weekend finding out...

You probably should take a roll of BW film and practiced. But you can do that, meter for blacks, than whites. Then use average function on the meter, that's how my L758 works. But I know that the spot metering and averaging function is bit more limited on L608 and it only works in certain modes.

No spot meter would be necessary with the EOS 3, not even for fill-flash or eTTL flash. Let the camera make the decisions, though I would not use a 100-400 lens with the flash unproven, so a bit of prior experimentation would be better than blind faith.

1 x Kodak Portra 400 propack (5 rolls) (Exp 06/2014). $30 (reserved for tokam)
1 x Kodak Portra 160 propack (5 rolls) (Exp 06/2014). $30 (reserved for tokam)

Please add the Kodak Profoto XL 100... + Japan Hunter case = $9 to my stash.

All looks good for a pickup next week plus delivery of your HC-110.

I'll take the 10x portra 160 with case Nuff.

I'll transfer the money in the morning.

Bump, I still have following left:
8 x Kodak Portra 400 (Exp 06/2014) + 2 x Fuji Pro 400H (Exp 05/2014) + Japan Hunter case = $60
