I bought this in hopes to re-leather the coverings, but it was in such great shape that I decided not to. Only issue is the VF patch is foggy, so it needs to be CLA'd. Other than that, it is fully functional. Mechanically seems to be ok, all 3 shutter speeds  focus is smooth and aperture is smooth (there are no clicks on these models) the body is in great shape, this is a 1939 model. Bakelite plastic and steel parts, and a US patent # in the film chamber make for a nice conversation piece in a collector's cabinet

includes fitted leather case.

$50 shipped (in US)

Just to clarify:
Production of the Argus C3 started in 1938, but this specimen is a C3 Standard variant, which was produced from 1958-1966. It was one of the later ones, and has five speeds, not three (10, 25, 50, 100, 300).
Beautiful example, though! Good luck with sale.
