Offering my ALPA Rodenstock HR Alpagon 4.0/40mm in Long Barrel (LB) configuration with Copal 0 shutter, in excellent condition. Includes the correct ALPA HPF High Precision Focus Ring calibrated in metres, correctly mounted.


The 40mm is the workhorse of the ALPA lens lineup and one of the most sought-after lenses in medium format digital photography. Sharp corner to corner with a generous 90mm image circle, it handles extensive shift movements even on 40x54mm backs with ease. The LB/Copal 0 configuration offers broad compatibility across ALPA bodies and other technical cameras. Glass is immaculate — no fungus, no haze, no scratches. Copal shutter is fully operational at all speeds. Selling reluctantly after many years of faithful service.
