Agfa Pre-war Dual Format Isolette by Scott, on FlickrFor sale - a pre-war Agfa Jsolette/Isolette folding dual format camera. This camera was top of the line for 1937 - complete with Compur Rapid shutter and uncoated Solinar 85/4.5 Tessar-formula lens. Early Isolettes (the "J" in "Jsolette" was a stylized "I") of this ilk came with leather bellows, NOT the plastic-coated messes that came on their later folders. I can find no pinholes in this set, and there have been no indications of leaks in use. The shutter is firing correctly at all settings, including T and B. There is minimal paint loss, and the camera is in fine nick, inside and out.
This is a dual format model - both 6x6 and 6x4.5, by means of built-in film gate masks that flip up when changing film, and a switchable viewfinder mask. Everything is built-in and is not removed from the camera when switching formats, so there are no masks to lose. There's a secondary red window on the back to allow frame counting for the 6x4.5 pictures.
Everything works properly on the camera - the shutter, the focus, everything. This is a scale focus camera, and the markings are in meters. Scale focus takes some getting used to, but I've had no problems.

I've owned maybe a half dozen of these through the years. This is by far the nicest example I've seen. I will sell this camera for $80 plus shipping, PayPal only.
Thanks,
Scott
