Up for grabs is a well used example of a nice portrait lens. Lens had fungus when I got it, I cleaned that up as best I could and while the internal glass is now in very good shape (as is the front element), the rear element was too far gone. I polished off some of the coating along with the worst of the fungus and, well, the element itself is pitted. Sample images show more glow than my other copy of this lens had but could be a great option for portraits.
Stopped down it is sharp and contrasty, see sample photos from a 1.6x crop non-film camera taken at f/1.7 and f/5.6. Also, the aperture linkage is a bit stubborn so sometimes wants to stay closed down and sometimes not. The aperture blades are clean and dry. Some wear on the barrel as shown, focus is smooth and aperture ring rotates fine but sometimes it is a bit weird.
Sample images are taken wide open and then stopped down.
I have a fairly beat up Minolta : YS adapter if you want it, otherwise no adapter will be included. Shown in the pictures there is a YS : M42 and M42 : EOS adapter, neither of which will be included as I need them for my other YS mount lens. No caps, no hood.
$65 or best offer, I need to upgrade my non-film camera for some upcoming client work so I need to clear house with some amount of urgency to help cover that.
Please PM me if interested/with offers.
