My other project lens -- I never got around to fixing this, and have just acquired another 90mm Caltar with a working shutter, so I would like to unload this one --
The good: no fungus or mold or scratches on either the front or the rear elements; the Copal 0 shutter has a working preview switch, and both the shutter and the aperture blades are clean.
The bad: the shutter cocking lever has tension when it is pressed, but it will not stay cocked (not even on the bulb setting); a CLA will run anywhere from $50 to $125, depending on what has to be done (I have not opened it up or had it looked at yet). Some significant coating loss on the rear element; a cleaning mark on the front element. The rear element, as you can see from the last picture, which has been enhanced in PS, has some haze that I haven't been able to remove, and I did open up the rear element when I got the lens so it could be cleaned.
Covers 100 degrees, ample movement for 4x5. Serial No. 3557.
If you have a focal plane or a packard shutter, you can certainly put this to good use as is.
Asking $65 or your best offer, plus $8 to cover shipping in the continental US.
