I took a chance on this and although the camera is fine it would need modifications for my needs and would still be just as heavy.
What you get: 5x7 Linhof Technika III with a 210/4.5 Schneider Xenar plus two additional lens boards (cut for Compur 5s) and the original box for the camera.
The good: Everything works, including the rangefinder and there is still fluid in the bubble level. The compound 3 shutter seems to be working correctly with a full range of speeds although I don't know how accurate they are - the slow ones seem close at least. The bellows appears to be fine apart from a small split where a clip has been wearing. The inner half of the bellows looks to be undamaged.
The bad: it is scruffy, the leather is peeling in places and the previous owner had his driver's license number engraved on the bottom of the rear casing. There is a little haze in the Xenar, but no fungus that I can see. It is usable but would really be better being professionally cleaned. The box is in very poor condition although it still has it's little linhof logo badge. The rangefinder cam is there, but is the wrong one (marked 360mm).
Basically it is a good user that just needs a little cosmetic attention. I'm in Australia so the prices are as follows:
