For sale, a 5x7 Press Graflex, serial number just under 31000, so I guess its about 1912-1914. It includes the removable ground glass panel for the rear, which is usually missing on these.

Lens is a not original to the camera Rank Taylor Hobson Xerox 8" lens. Probably not any worse than the Kodak Anastigmat or Bausch Tessar that was original to the camera. If you really want one of those, I probably have one in a drawer. Glass is pretty clean, and aperture works well.

Camera condition is about what you'd expect for a hundred year old camera. Handle is gone. Some areas of dried cracked leather. Mirror and both ground glass panels are intact and clean. Shutter curtain is a bit creased, probably from being stored in one position for many years. It's not dried/wrinkly/cracked though. I posted a video on Flickr of me firing the shutter - I've got the spring tension most of the way up to do that but it suggests this shutter could be refurbished. Hood is in nice shape. I didnt check the bellows but they look nice, at least superficially.

Asking $375 + shipping. This is very large and very heavy so I'm limiting sale to CONUS.

Thanks,
Dan
