5 x 7 Deardorff View with 5 x 7 back in Excellent condition. A top of the line American field camera circa 1954, mahogany wood body with nickel plated hardware. New bellows from Custom Bellows, new strap, new shoes on the rear standard, the front standard has been repaired. The focus is smooth, the front and back standards are rigid. The finish on the mahogany wood is decent, the nickel plating on the hardware is still good. The bed plate is a solid disc of aluminum and in excellent shape. The camera over-all looks great and is fully functional in the field.

The Deardorff is a classic American field camera, very well built, beautifully finished, a pleasure to use in the field. The camera exhibits an excellent range of movements including tilt, swing, rise and fall etc... (See photos). It has a generous 21 inches of bellows draw, weighs in at 7 lbs and folds up into a compact package. One of the high points of American camera design. Camera comes with the original 5 x 7 back and one Copal #1 lens board. My selling price: $1150 shipped in the continental US.
