For Sale FS: 4x5 Petzval

For sale, this no-name petzval that should work well on 4x5. It's a big, heavy lens for 4x5. I make the focal length around 5-6", so, not surprisingly, the image circle is a little over 5". I shot a test image on 8x10 paper (see below) but exposed at f4-ish, before I figured out the focal length. Based on that focal length and the 2"+ diameter of the glass, its fast, around f2.5 (inexact measurements and math in my head so figure +/- .25 on that).

It needs cleaning. I've never used it - might have wiped it down when I got it but didnt really clean it up. It does come apart easily though, and it looks like the "cap" could be removed to straighten or just eliminate it altogether.

No retaining ring but here's how I mounted it on a Speed Graphic:

Just a friction fit into the board, using some electrical tape to protect the threads and then some old cork bar tape to take up the gap. Some RTV would be better but I use this board on multiple lenses.

I think I"m a little off on the FL (and therefore speed). From the coverage on the glass, I'd say 6" FL or maybe a bit more (always hard to tell where the nodal point is on one of these) Here's focus at near infinity on 4x5:
