Hi All!
Today I have a 40-1K UV exposure unit for sale. It holds a good vacuum, the glass platen is in good condition and the UV head glass protector is intact and scratch free. In addition, I replaced the bulb with a genuine Nuarc brand bulb about 15 months ago. In short, it's in great condition and has been running flawlessly.
I've been using the past 3 years for alternative photographic processes, including cyanotype and platinum prints. With this machine, I can print up to approximately 40"x 28", though I've usually printed 8"x20" or 16"x20". It really shines for printing multiple smaller images at once, such as eight 5"x7" prints at a time... working this way is great for printing runs of series of images.
I'm selling because my work is focusing more on smaller formats and I don't need such a large machine taking up space. Comes apart for moving, but it's bulky/heavy and will require two people to transport. Located in Vancouver, Canada.
