This lens is priced to move, but with two caveats: the front lens has a slight hint of internal haze (very hard to see unless put up to a bright light) and the shutter doesn't have an iris scale. The haze won't have any noticable effect on black and white photos, probably not color either unless you're looking for precision detail and color reproduction. If you're after that, you probably need a multicoated plasmat instead of this lens.
This silver ringed Copal 3 shutter is the older style with more iris leaves, closing down to make a more circular aperture than the newer ones. Speeds sound about right to my ear, but I don't have a tester for millisecond accuracy. Make your own iris scale or pay a shop like S.K.Grimes to do it for you. If I didn't already have another one of these, I would do it myself.
$475 shipped anywhere in North America. $525 to anywhere else.
