Here's another item from what my wife calls my "lens museum" - the too-many LF lenses in various focal lengths that simply don't get used.

This one is an absolutely beautiful 300mm f/8.5 Fujinon-C with caps and retaining ring. The glass is lovely, as are the shutter cosmetics. Speeds 1/30 and slower are within 1/4-stop, faster speeds run about 1/2-stop slow, with 1/400 being just a bit worse than that. Coverage is stated by Fuji as 380mm at f/22, so allows for generous movements on 8x10, 7x11, or 5x12. This is a really nice lens with no issues beyond the few unavoidable specks of dust.

Why sell it? Well, I've got a comparably-nice 300mm Nikkor-M and another heavier 300 as well. It just doesn't make sense to keep them all, especially since the Nikkor and Fujinon are nearly identical, so I basically flipped a coin and the Fujinon won (or lost, depending on your point of view).

The lowest-priced one on eBay right now is $555 BIN with no takers. KEH has one in LN- at $668, and there are several in that price range on eBay as well. How about $475 including insured US shipping? International shipping would add some cost, contact me...

Someone has agreed to purchase this, and I'm awaiting payment. Please contact me if you'd like me to keep your name and priority should the sale fall through.

that's cheap!

it's a fantastic lens, I'd never part with mine. It has a shorter focusing distance than anything else in the 500mm focal length that is not a tele-photo design. It's even about 8mm shorter than the Nikkor M.

Sorry, I should have updated this listing - the lens has been sold. I probably should have asked for more...
