This is a vintage Schneider 270mm Tele-Xenar f5.5 in a Compur shutter mounted on a metal Speed/Crown Graphic lens board. Being a telephoto design, it only needs about 150mm of bellows extension at infinity focus. It's coverage is around 175-185mm, when stopped down to f22-32.
The shutter works pretty good, remember not to cock the shutter on B, or T, or it will be damaged. Sometimes on T, the release lever is slow to return, so needs a little push to return.
The glass is in usable shape. When looking at at angle, I can see what looks like internal "coating" marks and fingerprint mark, although I believe it is uncoated. I think it would be fine for black and white work, but would not shoot against strong light as it might have a tendency to flare. Includes a metal Wollensak lens cap.
I think this lens would be fun to experiment with on the Speed or Crown graphic and the longer focal length would also be good for portraits.
$65 plus postage. Paypal accepted.
