I believe this to be a Calumet house-branded version of Rodenstock's Ysarex, a Tessar design.
This particular lens is extremely clean and clear, with only a very few minute cleaning marks to the coatings. According to my Calumet tester, the shutter is almost dead-on accurate at 1 and 1/2 second, less than 1/6 stop slow at 1/4 second, about 1/3 stop slow between 1/8 and 1/60, and 1/2 stop slow at 1/125 and 1/250. 1/400 is not much faster than 1/250, not unusual for Copal 1 shutters. The tolerance for Copal shutters is ±30%, which is roughly 1/3 stop. Exterior cosmetics are excellent with just a couple of minute scuffs but no dents or dings. It includes the retaining ring and Rodenstock caps.
There's been one of these on eBay off and on over the past few months (off at the moment) garnering no action at a starting bid of $175. The eBay seller says there's slight rear-cell separation, and that one has no caps. The lens I'm selling here has no separation, and as I mentioned above, includes caps. How does $150 shipped in the US sound?
