The glass is beautiful on this renowned and sharp lens, and in a synchro compur shutter that functions ok from 1/25-1/100...sluggish and hangs on slower speeds. I did not test with shutter speed tester
(Edited) B & T work fine, and after exercising the shutter for a few minutes, speeds sound better...so a little graphite or the CLA and you have a very nice lens. Usable as is in my opinion.
So a CLA would be in order to make completely perfect.
