This is a 1894 Empire 8x10 view camera that I recently acquired and cleaned up some. The wood is in decent shape overall. Somewhere during it's life a portion on the right was repaired and fully functional. All screws are tight. I've added felt to the film sheet holder contact surfaces as the original was getting thin. It has front rise, rear swing and tilt. I have touched up the small corner pinholes in the bellows, so it's light-tight.
Lens is a Voigtlander Collinear Series III with a 7 7/8 focal length and in good condition. The diaphram does not work (I used some aperture discs when I've shot some images). The shutter barely works maybe 1/30 of a second when it does. I've used it a little but for full-time action, you would want to find a replacement (more modern) shutter (and maybe lens too and use this when on display).
I'm also including a good wood 8 x 10 Zephyr Cut Film Holder.
Thinking now that I want something a little different (more modern) in way of an 8x10. I really have no idea what to ask for it. So name a price. Shipping would be extra and what ever method you want. Thanks.
