I am selling this lens because after a long search I have finally found a Verito to pursue my soft focus addiction and I need to sell some gear to pay for it. This is a very sharp 180mm Schneider Symmar-S Multi Coated lens in a Copal 1 shutter. Front element glass is in very good condition with some Schneideritis in the outer paint - rear element has some mottling in the coating. Been said often but has no effect on photographs - very sharp lens. Shutter speeds are bang on except 1/400 which is 1/300. Shutter and aperture blades open and close smoothly and are oil free. Covers 4x5 and 5x7 and comes with retaining ring.
$175.00 plus shipping plus 3% Paypal fees. ($20 insured tracked shipping in Continental USA and Canada).

I have this same lens, also with Schneideritis. This is a great lens for a good deal. Simon is a good guy too.
I see several of his helpful posts on another forum.
I'd buy it if I didn't already have one.

This lens is the bigger brother of the 150mm version I just acquired. The 150 is nice, so I'm sure the 180 would be fine too.

Well I don't wanna mess with a Sergeant First Class!! (Congrats, by the way!)

Marc

Thanks! I let it go, decided to stick with my kit for now and buy only darkroom items I need, keeps me on my wife's good side!
