I have these lenses up on eBay with a starting bid of $249. I would be much happier selling them to someone here. Price to you "locals": $249 + shipping. No need to fight the eBayers. Satisfaction guaranteed, of course.
Also included are two barrels into which the unused cells may be screwed while one set is in the shutter. The barrels have the correct threads for the cells, but not the correct spacing.
Here's the eBay text:
Included in this auction are three rare Yamasaki Commercial Congo lenses in focal lengths of 180mm, 210mm and 250mm, all apparently multicoated. Also included is a fully functional Copal 3S shutter, into which all of the lenses fit. Although marked "Copal - NO 3", the cell openings in the shutter are 56mm, making it a Copal 3S. The shutter is mounted onto a cheap rounded-corner 6x6 board, which fits my V8 Deardorff.
All of the lenses show some cleaning marks; the 180mm in particular. There are no significant chips, scratches or fungus on any of the lenses, but the front cell of the 180mm has a lot of pitting in the coating, and its' rear cell shows some haze around the perimeter of the lens. While far from mint, all of the lenses are capable of producing excellent photos.
I have included photos below, taken with each of the lenses while mounted in this Copal 3S. The uncropped ones are scanned 8x10 negatives, to show you the potential coverage. Next to the 8x10s are 5x7 crops of the 8x10s. As you can see, the 180mm has some darkening of the corners at 5x7, while the 210mm covers 5x7 well. The 250mm covers 8x10 nicely. I have shot 8x10 color negatives with the 250mm and have been pleased with the results.
While it is possible to "mix-and-match" cells from the lenses, e.g., front 250mm with rear 180mm, the cells DO NOT function as a casket set. All combinations of cells will produce images, some sharper than others, but with vignetting.
