For sale here is one 16" Kodak Portrait Lens with its original box. While the box is torn and in rough condition, it has done well to protect the lens. The box is also marked with matching serial number RC256 (manufacture date of 1951). Glass is in very nice condition and aperture moves smoothly as expected. Both original front and rear caps, as well as the flange are included. Lensboard shown is not. Also included is the original booklet that came with the lens, telling how to use it.
$1000 shipped anywhere in the US. I offer a 10% discount to the buyer who chooses to pay via money order or cashiers check drawn on a US bank.

I'm keeping it's little brother, the 12". Funny thing though... it has no front element either!
Kudos to you on your relief efforts to help those who lost homes and more in recent storms that hit Oklahoma.

is it suppose to have a front element?

cheers

phil

Nope, they are a rear element cemented meniscus only.

The lovely one for sale here is lens only, no shutter. On a shuttered lens, the shutter blades cover the front aperture blades and a trim ring helps protect the shutter blades.

Great soft-focus images from these. I use the smaller 305mm version.
