Cosmetically ugly but in working condition and sold as-is.
I'm trying to put together a down payment on a house so selling off some seldom-used equipment. This Speedotron Black Line stuff is all maybe 25 years old (and one 2401 pack might be pushing 50) but it was all working the last time I plugged it in. It was originally purchased, used, and maintained by my former employer who was the most successful commercial photographer in Kalamazoo before he recently retired, so it got a lot of hard, daily use and shows the ugly scars cosmetically. I obtained it when he downsized his studio several years ago (and some of it never came out of that box). I charged the capacitors on the power packs last year and all the packs and big heads were working. I don't use it very much and really don't want to move it again, so I'm hoping it sells quickly.
I used the 4800ws head and 9600ws quadlight for one-pop wetplate. You need a lot of juice for one-pop wetplate at f/5.6-8ish, and these flash heads barely do the trick at 2 meters or thereabouts. Sitters can really feel the air pulse when they go off full-tilt. (I'd like to see what would happen to Trump's rug at 6'.
Or, on second thought, maybe not.)
If anyone is seriously interested, I'll double-check each item to make sure it is still in operating condition (though the price is solid even if there is a flash tube or two or an errant modeling lamp needing replacement on the 10 small heads) and that I have all the model numbers correct. I want to sell it as a package if I can, so offering it all as a package and all as-is at $2,300 net to me or best reasonable offer. It would be a hassle and expensive to ship, so pick-up in Kalamazoo or I'm willing to meet you within a 75-mile radius of Kalamazoo (South Bend, Lansing, GR, etc.) for an extra $50. Since this is a local transaction, cash works. Or, if I need to deliver this, a USPS postal money order sent in advance accepted as payment. Sorry, no Paypal.

Trump's hair, that is, not the Speedotron.
