Three 4x5 Press lenses-
The main lens in this group is a Schneider 135mm f/4.7 Xenar in a compur shutter. The lens is mounted on a Graflex lens board for 4x5 Speed or Crown Graphic cameras. Also included is the #P-31 cam for the late model Top-Mounted Graphic rangefinder. I was using this lens /cam combo on a Crown Graphic and it’s dead on.
Also included is a Tiffen Series 6 adapter with a metal Vivitar series VI lens shade. If you want to use series 6 filters instead of the shade the retaining ring is also included.
Terrific lens, quite sharp, especially for an affordable 4x5 option. The only thing keeping this lens from being Mint is the slow speeds are gummy. I’ve shot with this lens down to 1/30th without problem. The slow timing chain needs adjustment. I was using the lens 100% handheld (at faster shutter speeds) so it was not an issue. You can also open and close for ground glass composition and long exposures. The only reason I’m selling this is I’m moving to a longer (210mm) lens as I’m doing more portraiture.
Also included with this are two other 4x5 press lenses. A Graflex 135mm f/4.7 Optar in a Graflex two pole shutter and a Kodak 127mm f/4.7 Ektar in a Syncro-Compur shutter. Both of these shutters have the back mounting ring and like the Xenar have gummy slow speeds. Both are slow and sticky under 1/25.
All three lenses, the board, lens accessories and Cam for the Xenar are all included for $125.00 (net) plus $12.00 shipping in the US.
