A classic lens for 8x10 or smaller format. Perhaps this lens would nice for the wet plate shooter.
The glass has coating loss on the rear of the front group. There are cleaning marks, and some fine fungus internally. I would expect a loss of contrast in strong light exposures, but probably not too noticed when not shooting against the light. The front and rear groups unscrew easily.
The shutter needs service, but would suffice for long exposures. All the marked speeds seem to be variations of 1/2 - 1 second. B and T work, but with slight delay in closing. No flange. Takes a medium/long throw cable release to operate. Includes metal cap. Oh, and the aperture works smoothly.
$189 plus postage. Paypal accepted.
