This is on my short list of coolest camera/lens combos ever (along with M w/Summicron and Rollei w/Planar). I wish I could say it was the one the link below, but someone might notice his lens is a couple years older:

That is from this cool collection of photos:
http://www.retronaut.co/2012/04/celebrities-with-vintage-cameras-1950s-1970s/

Nikon F w/prism finder in really nice condition, with 105 f2.5 Nikkor P. Prism F's in this condition are fairly uncommon since most were bought by working pros who gave them daily hard use (which they handled very well). This belonged to a local amateur photographer and has survived the past nearly 45 years in surprisingly nice shape. Very minor wear - bright marks on the baseplate and very small wear marks on the edges of the back are all I notice.

The 105 f2.5 Nikkor is the sonnar design lens famous for both excellent sharpness and bokeh. It is also in very nice shape with excellent glass (and always and originally paired to this body) but does have a very noticeable pressure mark in the silver on the filter ring (from straightening out a ding, I believe). It is a great performing lens and really does have a classic look that holds up well even on the newest cameras. Most likely made in late 1967 or early 1968.

KEH has an F body w/prism in similar condition for $339, so how about $325 for the outfit. You are welcome to PM an offer on the lens or body, but I won't separate them unless nobody wants the outfit. The prism is a relatively high part of the value, and I do not want to sell it separate from the body.

Payment by PayPal as a "gift". US only. Preference to Apug regulars (I mention this only because I've had some suspicious inquiries and offers in the past).

More pictures later. I'm sneaking out for a bicycle ride (and some ramp digging) before the good weather goes away; I'll catch up with PM's in a couple hours.

Yes, it really is a nice camera; I hope someone buys it before I change my mind.

F's are my favorite Nikon, but I have several, so this pretty one isn't getting any use here. Everything is in good working order. All the speeds sound good, self-timer works, aperture crisp.

Here are a couple more pictures. I'll try to post a couple detail pictures shortly.

Classic! I love the 60's F glass and have quite a few Nikkor's from then. This lens is one of my fav's, just shot a roll of APX400 with it thru an ol' brassy F3 yesterday.

Now, if I did not already have two F3's and an FM2 I'd consider this. Gorgeous.

Detail pictures.

Since this outfit might appeal to a collector, I want to include some shots that show what wear is on the camera. The camera is really clean and these detail shots exaggerate things; I really never saw some of these details until today (they aren't noticeable) and had to manipulate some in Photoshop to get them to show up well.

That's the best camera porn I have seen in a long time. What a beautiful camera and lense combo.
