You cannot tell if it was freezing which caused crystallization or if it was just the normal thing, unless you call Kodak. They know more about the differences in crystal formation. It might have been chilled just enough to crystallize, not freeze. I suspect that is the case here as the bottle did not break.
Recently, I got 2 color paper kits with bad part "B". I called the 800 # and told them and gave them the kit #. They saw I was calling from Rochester, so that afternoon, a Kodak truck pulled up in the driveway with 2 bottles of part "B". So, I'm sure if you call them, they will do the best for you. Not quite that good, but good enough to make you happy.
