Could anyone tell me the best method of bringing my Tri-X up to room temperature after months in the ice box?
Thanks,
Mike

David's correct - no special warming procedure is needed. Just be sure to give the film enough time. 24 hours may be overkill, but I've never gone wrong doing it this way...better to be too cautious than take a chance.

I usually let my films and such sit for a couple of hours which is suficiant to bring up to temp and not worry about any condensation forming..

If you are talking about bulk rolls, then you could follow Kodak's guidelines for 35 mm movie film: one hour per 5°C or 8°F.

Best,

Thanks All

Kind of figured it would be much the same as a frozen roll of 36exp. ,only longer. Thought there was no harm in asking since I was dealing with a potentially endangered species.
