Greetings. I am from the Chicago area. I shot film for a long time. I learned photography 35 years ago in High school. We had an excellent program, where we learned processing B&W and shot in every format up to 4X5. My folks bought me a Nikon FM2 with a 50 as a graduation gift.

While I shot it all my life and I still own it today, I did not shoot as much or enjoy photography, quite to the same level, when I lost access to a dark room. Along came digital and the digital darkroom was back. I really embraced it, and started shooting lot of wildlife shots, almost all locally with a very modest digital camera and lens collection. So I guess it's fair to say that the post processing part is important to me.

So recently I have been interested in "mixing it up a bit" with my old film camera especially after watching some of Art of Photography show on You Tube.
Not only in regard to the gear but in my approach and subject. I feel like I am getting rather stale.
I also snapped up a minty Nikon FG with another 50mm f1.8 for 30 bucks and a equally minty F80 for 20.
Boy what awesome gear for next to nothing. I also got a Yashica "Spiderman Camera", an old rangefinder from a co-worker also for 20 bucks.
Years ago I borrowed a Yashica Mat 124g that I really liked. Would love to snag one of those.
I am also teaching my 15 year old son photography with a film camera. I think people get a better grasp of what's happening when you can open up an empty film camera and play around watching the mechanics work.
A dark room is probably not in the picture right now, but I think we will develop black and white film, and maybe scan it? Not sure, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I do remember watching print develop in a tray and it was just like..."WOW...NOW THAT IS COOL!"
So I have a roll of HP5 in the FG and Pan F in the other, those are in process.
Unfortunately I have no recent film film shots to show you yet. But rest assured they are on the way.
