Hi Everyone, it is the July 4th holiday in USA and it was an opportune day to look through old boxes of slides. I have been discarding "pretty" pictures (Here is the charming village in the Alps with flowers, aren't they pretty?). I saw these scenes of the Bains des Pâquis in Geneva, a peninsula that juts out into Lac Leman. Considering the heat here in Mississippi, I wish I were in Geneva today! I took these with a Leica rangefinder camera with my 20mm Russar lens. This lens was a bit hard to use, but under the right conditions, had wonderful optical quality. I sold it several years ago, and, of course, wish I still had it (you know how that goes). Date: June 2000. Film, Kodachrome 64. Scanner: Plustek 7600i with Silverfast Ai.

That Russar is cool (I have one), but the viewfinder for it is the bee's knees! Best wide angle finder ever!
