Hello,

My name is Florian and I'm a Belgium photographer using mostly medium format and loving films and that olds mechanics like you. I went many times on your forum for take informations for develop my first films and do some experimentations.
I use two Rolleiflex and one Hasselblad 500 C/M but my first analogic camera I bought was a M3.

At the pleasure to read and discover you and all my apologizes for my poor English,

Florian

Welcome Florian,

Your English is fine.

Welkom, beste buurman!
Groeten van Bert uit Holland

Thank you for your welcome,
I hope I'll can meet and interact with you soon

Florian, you must be a very wise man since you are using a Hasselblad.

Welcome to APUG

Thank you Sirius Glass, for me, Hasselblad isn't wise, it's just an evidence. It was the first medium format camera I bought with a 150 and it's just amazing... I really enjoy to work with it.

Like I'm a newbie here I put there the link for my flickr account, that'll give you a summary of what I do but it's not really update oftenly: https://www.flickr.com/photos/128585969@N03/

My first Hasselblad lens was the CF 250mm because that is the only Hasselblad used lens in the store. Then came the CF 80mm. Followed by the CF 150mm. Next the CF 50mm. Followed by the 2XE extender, then the 903 SWC, the CF 100mm, and finally the C 500mm.

Thx for posting the flickr link, Florian. And best of welcomes. 'Particularly like the people shots. 'Hope to see some more soon.

"Florian, you must be a very wise man since you are using a Rolleiflex." Sorry, I could not resist. Welcome to APUG from across the ocean and one third of the continent: Mississippi.

One day (you know how that goes) I need to scan my 1970s negatives from the ferry crossing from Ostend to Dunkirk...

Really? You would have been faster by car.

In my own stuff I started by the CF 150 and the Hasselblad, a nice challenge for me to do portraits and landscape, I remember when I was looking my firsts contacts sheets I was absolutly in admiration for the sharpness and the details... After a few months I had the opportunity to buy one second A12 back and one CF 50 and two or three small things like a waist level finder and the compendium lens hood... The first serial I was proud to do and show was done with that: Tempo di Roma.

@HiHoSilver I'm glad you liked my link and my portraits, I'll try to update some news things soon.

@ macfred: Hello neighbourd, thank you for your welcome

@ Kodachromeguy:Yes I'm wise, but it's really hard to don't have the temptation of the Rolleiflex it's really a wonderful camera... Thank you for your welcome. I saw your website and you seems to travel much far from the Mississippi

@ mooseonthelose: thanks for your welcome

It´s always nice to have another MF shooter around here on APUG. I use Rollei and Hasselblad myself. Welcome, I hope you´ll have fun!

Thank you too, it's a pleasure for me to be one of yours and exchange about analogic process and works
