When I was maintaining my newly purchased pen d2, I foolishly opened the parts that should not have been opened. Now, I am in a confused state about how to restore it.I searched for answers by looking up repair videos, but there is no information about this part. So far as I know, pen and pen d2 and pen d3 may all have the same result?But I still couldn't find any information about this part.
I'm not sure where these springs should be installed

This is a case for digital photography. A digital camera with macro lens to document a tear-down can supplement one's written and or drawn notes.

Thank you for your suggestion, but this is a film machine and it looks like a transmission device

These are pics from when I was working on my Olympus Pen D (not D2). I hope they can help you. I never removed the springs so they are in their original place. Be careful you don't lose the tiny metal ball as that can fall out during disassembly and is used to select the shutter speed.
