Project Bashos Dead Link Removed drive will culminate with a party and silent auction this Sunday at 6 pm.
At the silent auction, original photographic work by both emerging and established photographers associated with Project Basho will be up for bid. This will be a great opportunity to purchase holiday gifts of art work at very reasonable prices. There will be a plenty of food and drink for the occasion, and tickets are $20.
As part of this year's fundraiser, photographs by Tsuyoshi Ito will also be available for purchase. Please visit our website for more details about the print sale.
And finally, there is still time to participate in our fundraiser with InsiderPages.com. Reviews written through December 8th will help support our cause. If youd like to join this effort, all you have to do is sign up for an account and start writing reviews of any business in the US. So far, we have raised close to $1800.
We are hoping to raise enough money to furnish our digital workstations and image editing software with these fundraising efforts. We are planning to offer not only introductory digital classes but also a high-end scanning workshop as well as a digital negative workshop. With these offerings, we hope to cater to a more diverse group of people and deepen our interest in the medium of photography.
