Hi All,
I have started to develop in house and bought a bag of D-76 t to make 3.8 liters, just after mixing it turned yellowish (see the attached picture), actually, the powder was quite yellowish as well, after seeing videos on how to mix D-76 I have noticed that the one in the videos were clear. I have never seen D-76 before so I think it is not good, I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,
William Gonzales

Check the batch numbers and see if this is from the bad batches produced last year. Kodak shipped out some compromised D-76 last year.

Looks fine to me. My D76 often takes on a very light yellow color and I have not noticed any ill effects from it.

In principle freshly mixed D76 should be clear or virtually clear. This amount of yellowing here would not bother me however; it's not likely to have a noticeable influence on the image characteristics of the film developed with it.

The bad batches turned into something that looked like damp beach sand-- brown, clumpy, grainy.
