As it gets more difficult and expensive to buy film (B&W and slide) and B&W paper, does anyone out there have any experience of storage of flim and paper in the freezer. Does it extend its life/qualities of have I wasted my time buying a freezer for this purpose?
Thanks

Yes, refrigeration of film and paper has been discussed ad nauseum here.

Yes, it will extend the life of your materials, almost indefinitely in certain cases (e.g. slow films). But it will not shield against fogging caused by radiation. The faster a film is, the more this will affect it. Delta 3200 keeps poorly, for example.
