Kerry,

I was floored when I saw the stack of boxes UPS left at my door. Almost 4' high! Once I opened the first box and saw the 16x20 boxes, I understood. I found that you can consolidate the boxes by placing 2 7x17 packs in each 16x20 box. This will help with the freezer space.

On a separate note, have you found a solution for storing exposed and processed film?

John,

I haven't got that far yet. I'm waiting on the back for my camera to be completed. The rest of the camera is finished. I have the lenses mounted on boards and ready to shoot, film holders ready to load, and now a freezer full of film. Yesterday, I won an eBay auction for a Uniroller base and a couple drums, inlcuding a 16x20 drum that will allow me to process two sheets of 7x17 film at a time. So, everything is starting to come together, but it will still probably be a couple weeks before I expose and process my first sheet of 7x17 film.

That said, the storage option I'll likely choose is the ArtCare Microchamber folders from Superior Archival Materials. They come highly recommended.

Kerry,

Thanks for the input. However, there are a few posts on the Azo forum that suggest that Superior Archival Materials has had problems for the last few (3) months. I belive they are health related. I will try and contact them next week to place an order and will keep let you know what I find out.
