What surprises me is what they're asking for a bulk roll of TMX.... ~$145. Wow. With shipping, and assuming one could get about 18 rolls of 36 exposures, that's still more than $8.50 per roll. For bulk?

That is concerning. And to be honest, I didn't order any of this film. As luck would have it, a day or two previous to seeing this I had already placed an order for TMX with Film Supply Club. So... didn't need any additional TMX.

I have two bottles of Adotech IV ordered from Freestyle on October first. It’s not that far of a trip from Santa Fe Springs, CA to Portland, OR but they’re still riding around on the FedEx truck and will probably be Monday or Tuesday before they arrive.

I had three bottles of rodinal take over a week to get to Michigan. They spent last weekend in California with fedex and just got delivered today. Sadly I am away from home, go figure.

Shipping is really out of the hands of Freestyle and, sadly, nowadays seems to be a guess. Last Spring I had placed an order with Film Supply Club. It shipped USPS Priority Mail next day. A month later, it still hadn't arrived. Tracking showed that it entered, but never left, a USPS facility in southern California (close to where FSC is located). I ended up having to file an insurance claim with USPS. And the, voila!, the package showed up in my PO box two days later. Go figure.

UPS, USPS, FedEx and every shipper with the exception of Amazon is struggling with the same problems. Too many packages, not enough staff and too much staff turn over. It's getting to the point of regularly expecting deliveries to take a two week minimum. I try to use the local shops as much as possible but they don't carry specialities like Adotech IV. Lately, if I need to order from Freestyle, I'll add items I may not need right away but at least they'll be on hand when needed.

USPS is really unreliable this year. They took 3 weeks to get from Oregon to SanFransisco, then they turned it right around and sent it back to the shipper which took a day. They blamed it on incorrect address, but the shipper confirmed the address with USPS when they dropped it off. It was a BS excuse. Luckily we got refunded for the shipment. Couriers have been less of a problem.

Yea! I've received word from Freestyle that my order just needed to be reviewed by a human and now it has been so all is good.
Two bricks of TMX on the way!
