This came to me with some other gear. Modeling light works but unit does not flash. Ready light never comes on. Technical folks at Paul Buff says the likely cause is a bad capacitor and capacitors in that form factor are no longer available. If you send it to them for repair and it's not repairable, they'll give you a credit toward a new monolight. How much credit - you'll have to talk to them. Or maybe you want to wire in a capacitor and attach via duct tape - who am I to judge.
The flashtubes are not included. They were from another Ultra monolight.
