So I bought a massive 6x6cm slide projector. But I have nowhere to put it. So I am offering a temperature chart recorder (for collection only). It is 160mm high, 160mm wide and 180mm front-to-back. The mechanism is Russian, very robust and uses 110mm wide paper. It is obviously of cold-war vintage, designed to withstand a small thermonuclear blast.
It was specifically modified to monitor photoprocessing. It incorporates a 0.05%, 10ppm/ºC voltage reference. The speed is selected by swapping gearwheels, presently set at 10mm per minute. It is presently set up to record 0.05°C per mm, 5.0°C full-scale in three switchable ranges. It is offered with some printed rollpaper but this may difficult to replace.
It was used to commission and monitor laboratory-grade processors in the research laboratories of Kodak Harrow, Kodak-Pathé Châlon and Ilford-Ciba Fribourg
Collection only - UK
